The Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology provides students with essential academic and clinical training in women’s health, covering both gynaecological and obstetric care.
The department conducts a daily Gynaecology & Obstetrics OPD, providing students with opportunities to observe and learn from clinical cases under appropriate supervision. Students are trained in systematic gynaecological examination and learn the principles of comprehensive antenatal assessment of pregnant women attending the OPD.
The department also promotes academic and research interest in areas including fibroids, fibroadenomas, and polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD), with research exploring the role of homoeopathic approaches in these conditions.
